Every LevLamp orb defies gravity through a closed-loop system of electromagnetics, real-time sensing, and wireless power — working invisibly, thousands of times per second.
MAGNETIC OPPOSITION
The orb contains a neodymium permanent magnet calibrated to oppose the electromagnetic field generated by the base, creating a stable repulsion zone where the orb rests in equilibrium.

CLOSED-LOOP SENSING
Sixteen Hall-effect sensors embedded in the base continuously measure the orb position in three dimensions, feeding corrections to the coils at over 2,000 samples per second.

WIRELESS POWER
An inductive resonance coil in the base transmits power across the levitation gap to a receiver inside the orb, eliminating every cable, contact point, and compromise.
